Battle Bag – Hasbro Star Wars Episode I

Miniature Creature Set | The Phantom Menace | 1999

Includes:

  • Synthetic fabric Battle Bag containing 4 miniature Naboo creatures
  • Plastic cutting tool

Hasbro produced four Battle Bag sets for the Episode I line — two Sea Creatures sets and two Swamp Creatures sets — each containing four small non-articulated creatures from the planet Naboo. Creatures across the range include the Opee Sea Killer, Fambaa, Kaadu, Nuna, Falumpaset, Ikopi, Shaak, and more. The bag is designed to be soaked in water for five minutes, causing the material inside to absorb water and form a coloured gel/slime, then cut open with the included tool to reveal the creatures within.

These were part of Hasbro's push toward interactive play for the Episode I launch, sitting alongside products like Jabba Glob as a science-kit style novelty aimed at younger fans. The miniature creatures are painted with reasonable detail for their size, and some are roughly in scale with standard 3.75" figures. This is a sealed bag, so specific creatures inside are unconfirmed.

Sealed. Please see pictures for condition.
