Shortly before the release of the third Star Wars movie, George Lucas changed the name from Revenge of the Jedi to Return of the Jedi. He felt the a Jedi did not seek revenge, that was the way of the Sith.
Kenner Revenge of the Jedi Proof Cards were printed before the name change. The feature the Revenge of the Jedi logo instead of the ROTJ one we are so used to.
