The Comic Packs were introduced in 2006 as a way to pair 3.75" figures directly with the comics that inspired them. This set draws on the opening issue of the original Marvel run, depicting the Tantive IV boarding scene. The Rebel Officer figure represents the unnamed troopers cut down in the corridor during Vader's first appearance in the saga.
