The carded figure component of the 40th Anniversary Legacy Pack, released in April 2017 to commemorate the original Star Wars film. The Legacy Pack originally included a display stand and reversible Kenner-inspired backcard; this listing is for the carded figure only.

- Red lightsaber with removable blade
An all-new sculpt distinct from previous Black Series Vader releases, with the detachable blade designed to hang from a hook on Vader's belt when not in hand. The figure stands noticeably taller than standard Black Series figures, accurately proportioned to Vader's on-screen height.
