Part of the 2012 "Lost Line" series commemorating 35 years of Star Wars, this wave recreates a packaging concept that Kenner created, contemplated, and ultimately set aside in favour of the classic black-and-silver design. The blue space-themed card with Death Star and TIE Interceptor imagery was pulled from the Kenner archives for this release.

The six-figure Lost Line series spans episodes I through VI (EP1–EP6), each numbered on-card. This is the final figure in the wave. The translucent Vader sculpt paired with the Force lightning pieces gives the figure a distinctive "dark side energy" look unique to this release.
