3.75" Scale Creature Set | A New Hope (Special Edition) | 1997
Part of Kenner's POTF2 Creature Assortment released alongside the 1997 Special Edition of A New Hope, which featured expanded CGI Dewback footage. One of three creature sets in the wave alongside Ronto with Jawa and Bantha with Tusken Raider.
- Dewback creature figure (articulated legs, jaw, and bendy tail)
- Sandtrooper figure (grey pauldron) with removable survival backpack, long blaster rifle, and lance
- Saddle
The Sandtrooper is an all-new sculpt tooled specifically for this set, with hinge-jointed knees and a wide-set stance that allows him to straddle the Dewback. The blaster rifle pegs into a dedicated port on the backpack. Packaged in a window box consistent with the POTF2 creature/beast format.
