Kenner's Droid Factory playset was released for both Star Wars and the Empire Strikes Back. It included a bunch of random pieces that fit together to make various robots. The key piece though, is the Droid Factory Rr-D2 which features a third leg. The Droid Factory R2 is different from the standard R2 in that the legs come off, the sticker is slightly different and was applied after purchase. The stickers didn't age well, and a nice Droid Factory R2 can fetch $150+ by itself.
This vintage Droid Factory is complete, except for the orange tubes and metal rods. All the other little pieces are there, including all 16 connectors. Also includes the 3-legged R2-D2.
All Kenner Star Wars vehicles, playsets and parts are original vintage, no repro.
