Vintage Kenner | A New Hope | 1977

Box has a cleanly cut Proof of Purchase (see pics). It is missing the AC Adaptor, but can be used with batteries (not tested).

Two-player battery-operated reaction game with electronic lights and sound, built around a lit path leading to the Death Star.

Includes:

• Electronic game unit with light-up play path
• Original box
• Instructions

Play is a speed contest: each round the unit signals a TIE fighter attack and the first player to hit the correct weapon button advances a space along the six-light path. The first player to reach the Death Star wins a final exchange for the game. The unit measures roughly 18 inches long, runs on a 9-volt battery or AC adaptor, and uses lights and electronic sound throughout.
