Vintage Embroidered Patch | The Empire Strikes Back | 1980
Embroidered ESB logo patch, red lettering with a white outline on navy, merrowed navy border.
Issued through the Official Star Wars Fan Club as part of the Empire membership kit in spring 1980 and first mentioned to members in Bantha Tracks No. 8. It was never sold at retail, so it came into collections through fan club renewals rather than store shelves. Colour variant versions of the logo patch are also known.
