In the original Canadian bilingual English/French outer wrap — the printed cardboard skirt that distinguishes the retail-release case from the plain brown mailer box version issued through catalog retailers.
Fully complete, including:
- Darth Vader bust case with working shoulder strap and built-in accessory storage compartment
- Full-colour figure photo insert (32-back)
- Self-adhesive label sheet
The Canadian ESB case is documented as a 32-back variant with its own distinct bilingual packaging. One notable quirk of the Canadian version: the accessory compartment door sticker reads "Star Wars" rather than "Empire Strikes Back," a bilingual label anomaly specific to the Canadian market release.
