These photobustas are unused (they have no tape or pin holes) which is quite rare. There is wear from over 40 years of storage though, please see detailed pictures. These were made for the original release of Star Wars in Italy, probably in 1978. I love that Guerre Stellari logo!
Photobustas are used by movie theatres in Italy to promote coming attractions. Though much larger, they are similar to US lobby cards, in that each theatre would receive 10-12 of these posters along with the regular movie poster. Italian Photobustas feature great imagery that we usually don't see anywhere else.
