Rather than building a model of what the X-Wing looks like on the outside, Kotobukiya built one of what it looks like on the inside. The Cross-Section 3D takes the detailed cutaway illustrations from Star Wars Incredible Cross-Sections and physically renders them in three dimensions — engine internals, cockpit systems, and fuselage structure all visible at once. At 12⅔" long in 1/35 military scale, the level of labelled technical detail is something no standard replica can offer.

This thing is more than a model, it's a work of art.
