The Y-Wing Fighter from The Vintage Collection brings the workhorse of the Rebel Alliance back in classic Kenner-inspired packaging. Released in July 2011 as a Toys R Us exclusive, this Return of the Jedi vehicle features a red, blue, and gunmetal paint scheme based on the Y-Wings seen at the Battle of Endor.

Hasbro made welcome upgrades to the classic tooling here. The fixed astromech dome from previous versions was removed, restoring the empty socket so you can drop in your favourite R2 unit. The cockpit received a complete redesign with an articulated targeting computer and control handles for your pilot figure to grip.

Features

  • Removable astromech droid socket (fits 3.75" scale droids)
  • Articulated targeting computer in cockpit
  • Button-activated dropping bomb
  • Rotating top cannon
  • Lever-activated play mechanism
  • Approximately 20 inches long
